Hello Everyone! I have been on a quest to keep my curious brain stimulated and to against the seeping boredom at my home during this quarantined time! So I must share some amazing resources that I came across that are free.
- MARINE LIFE: This week, I came across my new favorite LIVE ANIMAL VIDEOS from the Monterey Bay Aquarium! My family and I were particularly in awe of the Sea Otters and also learning about the science behind marine life care! So many free education games and art activities on their website also! - ASTRONOMY: Wanna see and learn more about what’s in the sky above as you look at it tonight? The Griffith Observatory has a weekly STAR REPORT that has out of this world photos from some of the best telescopes in the world! CLICK HERE for this week’s star report! AND Did you know Orange County has its very own Astronomy Club? Yes, we do! In fact, the Orange County Astronomers have the most amazing photos of our solar system, auroras, star clusters, and galaxies! Just breathtaking and humbling! Click here to see the photos! - U.S. GOVERNMENT: Our government has created an interactive website for all ages at our U.S. Capitol! From learning more about how congress is formed, to Designing government statues, and virtual exhibits, our U.S. CAPITOL website is a marvel!
